Beckers & Grandpa Roger's Visit!

Ellie was very excited about the arrival of Baby Brock, Aunt Aunt Audrey, Uncle Brian, Grandpa Roger, and Carole. I think she was most excited about Baby Brock!

Ellie showed him the ropes a lot, except for Baby Brock who was the first to try out Ellie's new birthday trampoline. We also had some nice visits with Grandpa Rogers brothers!

Aunt Audrey even helped Dan at the Huevo Stand on Saturday!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ellie!

Who can believe she is two already! Ellie had a great time at her 2nd birthday party! We celebrated with friends Callan, Luci, Sean & Nathan and cousins Hunter, Devyn, & Brock at Grandma & Grandpas. The kiddos had a great time playing in the sand, in the splash pool, and on the new birthday slide..& the pinata wasn't bad either! Super Yummy, huge Mickey Mouse cake made by Joslynn's brother!

We'll have to tell Ellie when she's older how much fun she had except for when she started crying when we sang Happy Birthday and said "I don't like that song!"...perhaps it was just to much attention at that point!

4th of July Weekend!

We had a great 4th weekend - took a trip to the zoo, reconnected with some old friends - the Cavenders on the 4th, watched the fireworks in the neighborhood & ate lots of good food!

Young Huevo Fans

Ellie tried Daddy's new Waikiki burrito this morning - loved the ham and pineapple salsa! Luci is digging into a kiddo!

Loving Downtown in the Summer

Happy Fathers Day to all Dads!!

We are spent the morning at home together (Pettit's Donuts for Dan) and at Jean's Bridal Shower. Now we're at the lake getting ready to grill steaks!

Wish Every Day Was Saturday

Ellie had a big morning - a birthday part for a friend from school at the local kids' gym (complete with a cupcake and a Twix) and then a stop to see Daddy at the Farmers Market. On Saturdays she now says "Daddy go to sell burritos at the Farmers Market" and she knows right where his stand is! Today she found the ice cream man at the market. Perhaps all of that sugar is why she couldn't fall asleep for her nap until 3!!

Big Girl Going to School

Ellie stays for lunch at Montessori on Mondays and Thursdays..Here's our big girl going to school! Good job Daddy on the outfit & ponytail!

She Floats!

Ellie's 'latest thing' is that she loves to float on her back in the bathtub. Here's a cute picture of her where she's laughing out loud about her back floats. Oh, and she loves to "tap". She loves the "Give a Cat a Cupcake" series and she likes to see the pig in a 'Pig a Pancake' tap....so if you have wood floors, she'll tap a LONG time for you!!

The Huevo - Day One

Dan's 1st day at Huevo was an outstanding success!! We sold approximately 275 burritos!! A number of people came back to ask what restaurant Dan is associated with and as importantly, we had fun!!! Our friend Mona took these great photos/videos of Huevo's debut!

Gotta Luv the Spring!

Ellie is LOVING being able to be outside!! She can't get enough of running in the grass, swinging, blowing bubbles, and playing with her new water toy. We are ALL glad that the Omaha winter seems to be OVER!!
